About Me

In 2017 I found my fur baby Luna Rose.  She was 9 weeks old when she came home with me. During that time I worked from home so I had a lot of time to spend with her.  She was such a joy and I wanted to share our adventure together with the world so I started her Instagram Page @luna.n.loni.  Little did I know that I would not only share a platform where fur moms & dads loved, adored and spoiled their fur babies but I would be exposed to a world that I now know has existed forever but I had never bothered to learn about. A world where Shelters, Rescues and Volunteers would expose the horrific neglect and abuse of animals.  I was horrified at the stories and pictures that I saw every day so trying to do my part I adopted Loni Boy in 2018. He and Luna hit it off right away and he fit just fine within our little pack. Don't get me wrong he came with his share of issues but the one thing I knew was that he was home.  I begin posting as many fur babies in need that I could, trying to bring awareness to them so that they would be saved from shelters, adopted, rescued or found foster homes.  But I found this still wasn't enough and that's how Speaking Up For The Voiceless was born. I wanted to find a way to raise funds to be given to Rescues to help them to be able to save more animals. Funds to be given to "no kill" shelters to help feed and advertise the animals in their care. Funds to be given to the many Veterinarian Clinics that provide services for animals many time for free.  But lastly I wanted to give funds to those families that love their pets like a family member and one day find themselves in the position of not being able to get the proper care that they need for that love one because they can't afford the vet bill.  My goal is to Speak Up For The Voiceless by bringing awareness to those that are being abused and neglected so that they will be able to get the help that they need. Since starting this adventure in July 2019 we added Leni Bell to our pack and she has fit in just fine.
